Roy Minter MICHT
Sports Injury Specialist Practitioner and Coach

Roy with Sharon Colley
World Masters Silver Medalist (Kayak)
Roy With Sarah Waldron INTERNATIONAL CAPS: 2004,2005,2006:England 2007-Great Britain
|
Roy studied anatomy and physiology, Swedish massage and Sports massage at Hereford College of technology, and is a current member of the Federation of Holistic Sports Therapists.
He has also attended an advance massage course on trigger point therapy, an area he is extremely interested in and continues to study privately, bringing the benefits of his knowledge to his clients.
Roy became interested in sports massage, as a result of sustaining a serious knee injury in 1995. During the long rehabilitation it became apparent that a career helping other sports people and athletes to fulfil their potential and recover from injury, was the right path for him.
Roy loves the work he does and the pleasure seeing people receive relief from their pain and returning to normality, and he feels strongly that a lot of people are living with pain unnecessarily. Roy continues to find that the deep tissue treatments are benefiting both elite athletes and the public at large, treating the whole range of injuries from back/shoulder problems to foot injuries. Roy is currently having to donate more time to his sport injury clinic in Hereford, and is amazed at the continuous growth of the business. With professional elite athletes from across the UK who represent us in the world Masters, England Caps, Olympics 2008 and 2012, National, regional and local football & Rugby clubs visiting him regularly as his standard of work and his commitment to the treatments have proved to help all individuals in reducing their healing times, and improved their performance levels.
